Honor Our Heroes 5k Memorial Run

The opening ceremonies will begin at 7:00 am near Oldsmar City Hall. The race will start at 7:15 am, and the participants will be led down past the Veterans Memorial Park and along the beautiful waters of upper Tampa Bay.
Location
PARKING. We recommend coming in off Tampa Rd onto Washington Ave. There is an open grass field with parking attendants to help guide vehicles in. Please drive cautiously. Avoid parking on or around State St and City Hall, as much of it will be closed to ensure our participants have a safe setup area.

Description
On Saturday, 24 May 2025, and in recognition of Memorial Day, Oldsmar Cares is proud to announce the 10th Anniversary for the Honor Our Heroes 5k Memorial Run.
We are excited to continue our collaboration and veteran outreach with VFW Post 12186. Our two distinguished nonprofit organizations are a 100% all-volunteer force.
We are working together for a better community, and all net proceeds from the event will support our efforts to serve residents, families, veterans, and community projects.

This 5k (3.1 miles) is designed for everyone from competitive runners to casual joggers, pet walkers, and even some pushing their strollers. The finish line will greet our finishers with beverages and food for everyone.
Come out for great event with a bunch of prizes, trophies, raffles, and more. Enjoy beverages from our friends at TBBC and food from Three Brothers NY Pizza.
