Free Shredding, Medication & Electronic Recycling Day

Safe & Secure Methods used to Prevent Identity Theft

Join the City of Oldsmar, in partnership with the Upper Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce, for our Annual Paper Shredding, Medication and Electronic Recycling Day.  This event is open to all businesses and residents who will be able to dispose of their documents, medications and electronics safely and securely for FREE!

In-kind services for Paper Shredding are offered by Business Records Management, Inc.; Electronic Recycling by OC Management Recycle, Inc.; and medication disposal by the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.

EVENT GUIDELINES:

SHREDDING:  There is a LIMIT of 5 BOXES for paper shredding.  Secure on-site shredding; all destroyed documents are 100% recycled.  No 3-ring binders, please.

ELECTRONICS:  There is no limit on materials brought.  Electronics (including batteries) are accepted; EXCEPT for Televisions and CRT Monitors.

MEDICATIONS:  If possible, safely remove medications from bottles and place in zip lock bags.  Liquids should remain in original containers with caps secured with tape.  REMOVE labels and destroy them.  NOT accepted: syringes and medical equipment.
