BAYP Community Service Project - Pack-a-Snack w/ Rotary

BAYP will be partnering with the Rotary Club of Dunedin Waterside to help pack snacks for the Pack-A-Snack Program on Saturday 5/22 at 10 am

Join some of the BAYPs for 

Pack-A-Snack is a program to help feed disadvantaged children (within our Dunedin Elementary Schools) over the weekend. These children receive free meals from their school during the week; but the school's faculty (teachers + social workers) pinpoint the children who frequently may not have adequate food over the weekend. These designated children receive a bag of healthy, pre-packaged snacks each Friday afternoon.

If you are not able to attend, but would still like to help, you can drop off healthy, pre-packaged, ready to eat snacks at the Dunedin Chamber of Commerce and label them BAYP before May 21st.

Examples of pre-packaged, ready-to-eat, "healthy" snacks (all single-serving):

JUICE (100% juice in boxes)
APPLESAUCE
PEANUT BUTTER OR CHEESE CRACKERS
FOOD/BREAKFAST BARS
MIXED FRUIT (packaged only, no raw fruit)
PUDDING
NUTS
RAISINS
TRAIL MIX
FRUIT SNACKS
CHIPS OR CRACKERS
